AI readiness assessment
An honest look at where AI would genuinely help, what your data allows today and which use case to pilot first.
Most AI projects stall on data, not models. We list the tasks where AI could save time or improve decisions, then check whether the data behind each one exists, is clean enough and may legally be used. You get a ranked shortlist of use cases, the gaps to fix first and a small pilot design you can measure.
What you get
- A list of candidate AI use cases gathered from the teams who would use them
- A data check for each use case: source, quality, volume, access and consent
- A ranking of use cases by expected value, effort and risk
- Privacy, security and regulatory notes for each shortlisted use case
- A pilot plan for the top use case, with success measures agreed in advance
- Build, buy or API recommendations covering hosted and self-hosted model options
How it works
- 01
Collect
We run short workshops with each team to find repetitive reading, writing, sorting and forecasting work.
- 02
Check data
For each idea we inspect the actual data: where it lives, how complete it is and whether it may be used this way.
- 03
Rank
Use cases are scored on value, feasibility and risk, and we explain why lower-ranked ideas should wait.
- 04
Plan pilot
The top use case gets a scoped pilot with a baseline, a success measure and a clear decision point at the end.
Scope it now.

Questions
Do we need a data science team to start?
Not for a first pilot. Many useful AI features call hosted models through an API and need good data access more than research skills. The assessment states which skills each use case needs and whether to hire, train or outsource them.
Is our data safe if we use AI models?
It depends on the model provider, contract terms and where data is processed. We check each option against your privacy obligations and recommend hosted, private-cloud or self-hosted models accordingly, with redaction where personal data is involved.
What if the answer is that AI will not help?
Then we tell you, and explain whether a simpler fix such as better search, a rule or a report would solve the problem instead. A clear no saves more money than a pilot that was never going to work.
