Storage software
Software that stores, tiers and replicates your files and objects, so data stays available as it grows.
Data grows faster than budgets, and the wrong storage design shows up as slow applications and surprise bills. We build storage platforms on Ceph, MinIO and ZFS, write services that move cold data to cheaper tiers, and add the replication, quotas and monitoring that tell you where every terabyte is and how quickly it could be restored.
What we build
- S3-compatible object storage on MinIO or Ceph for applications and backups
- Distributed block and file storage with Ceph RBD and CephFS
- ZFS-based file servers with snapshots, compression and replication
- Tiering services that move cold files to cheaper disks or cloud archive
- Quota, usage and chargeback reports per team, project or customer
- Data movers that copy and verify very large datasets between systems

What it does well
S3 compatible
Applications use the standard S3 API, so code works the same on-site or in the cloud.
Automatic tiering
Rarely used data moves to cheaper storage by age or access, and returns on demand.
Checksummed data
Every block or object is checksummed and scrubbed, so silent corruption is caught early.
Replication rules
Data is copied across disks, nodes or sites according to how much each dataset matters.
Immutable buckets
Object lock keeps backups and records unchangeable for a set retention period.
Capacity forecasts
Growth trends show when you will need more disks, well before space runs out.
Questions
Is on-site storage still worth it next to the cloud?
For large, steadily used datasets it often costs less, and it avoids paying to download your own data. Cloud storage wins for small or unpredictable volumes and global access. Many teams keep hot data on-site and tier archives to the cloud; we model both for your data.
Ceph, MinIO or ZFS?
ZFS suits a single file server or a small pair with strong data protection. MinIO is a light, fast choice for S3 object storage. Ceph is the most capable for block, file and object across many nodes, but needs more care to run. We match the choice to your scale and skills.
How do you move existing data without losing any?
We copy in stages with rclone or purpose-built movers, verify each file by checksum, keep source and target in sync during the switch, and only retire the old system after a full comparison report shows every object matched.
