Cloud setup
A new cloud environment set up securely, with accounts, networks, access and costs organised from the start.
Much cloud trouble traces back to the first week: one shared root login, everything in one account, open networks and no billing alerts. We build the foundation properly, with separate environments, least-privilege access, private networks, central logging and backups. It is all defined as infrastructure code, so it can be reviewed, repeated and changed safely.
What you get
- An account or subscription structure separating production, staging and development
- Sign-in through your identity provider with multi-factor authentication enforced
- Virtual networks, subnets, firewall rules and private connectivity configured
- Central logging, audit trails and alerts for risky changes
- Budgets, cost alerts and a tagging policy applied to every resource
- Infrastructure defined in Terraform or OpenTofu, stored in your repository
- A runbook covering access requests, new environments and emergency access
How it works
- 01
Design
We agree environments, regions, network layout, access roles and data residency needs before anything is created.
- 02
Build
The foundation is written as infrastructure code and applied, starting with identity, logging and billing controls.
- 03
Verify
Access, network rules and alerts are tested, and the setup is checked against the provider’s security benchmarks.
- 04
Hand over
Your team receives the code, runbook and admin access, and we walk through how to add new workloads.

Questions
Which cloud provider should we use?
The one that best fits your software, your team’s skills, data residency rules and existing licences. If you have not chosen yet, we compare AWS, Azure and Google Cloud for your workload and recommend one with the reasoning written down.
Why use infrastructure as code?
Because clicking through a console leaves no record. With code, every network rule and permission is visible and reviewed before it changes, and a new environment or region can be created in the same proven shape.
Who owns the accounts?
You do. Accounts and billing are in your company’s name, and we work through access you grant and can revoke. At handover we confirm your administrators hold the emergency access and that nothing depends on our logins.
