Cloud cost optimisation

Your cloud bill traced to the resources behind it, with waste removed and spending kept visible.

Cloud bills grow quietly: test servers left running, oversized databases, storage nobody reads and data transfer nobody planned. We tag and trace every charge to a team and purpose, fix the waste we can remove safely, and set up budgets and alerts. You end up with a bill you can explain and a way to keep it under control.

What you get

  • A cost breakdown by service, environment, team and application
  • A tagging scheme applied to resources so every charge has an owner
  • A list of idle, orphaned and oversized resources, with the change for each
  • Reserved capacity or savings plan recommendations with break-even points
  • Storage lifecycle rules moving old data to cheaper tiers or deleting it
  • Budgets, anomaly alerts and a monthly cost report for each team

How it works

  1. 01

    Read the bill

We export billing data and usage metrics and connect each line item to the resource and workload that caused it.

  2. 02

    Find waste

Idle machines, unattached disks, oversized instances, heavy data transfer and forgotten environments are listed.

  3. 03

    Fix safely

Changes are applied in agreed batches, starting outside production, with performance checked after each one.

  4. 04

    Keep it down

Tagging rules, budgets and alerts are set up so new waste is spotted within days, not at the next invoice.

Questions

Will cutting costs slow our applications down?

Not if it is done with measurements. Every right-sizing change is based on actual CPU, memory and storage usage over a representative period, applied first outside production, and reverted if response times or error rates move.

Should we buy reserved capacity or savings plans?

Only for the steady base load you are confident will run for the full term. We calculate that base from your usage history and show the break-even point, so you commit where it pays off and stay flexible elsewhere.

How much will we save?

It depends entirely on how your environment has grown, so we do not promise a figure up front. The first review lists each saving opportunity with its estimated monthly value, and you decide which changes to make.
