Deployment and DevOps

Automated pipelines that build, test and release your software the same way every time.

Releases go wrong when they depend on one person’s memory and a list of manual steps. We turn your build, test and release process into code: pipelines that run on every change, environments described in version control, and deployments that can be rolled back with one command. Your team ships more often, with less ceremony and fewer surprises.

What you get

  • CI pipelines that build, lint and test every pull request automatically
  • Infrastructure as code, such as Terraform, for every environment
  • Development, staging and production environments that match each other
  • Release pipelines with approvals, versioned artefacts and one-step rollback
  • Secrets moved out of code into a managed vault with access rules
  • A written release run-book and a walkthrough with your developers

How it works

  1. 01

    Assess

We follow a real release from commit to production and note every manual step, wait and failure point.

  2. 02

    Design

We agree the branching model, environments, test gates and deployment strategy that suit your team and risk.

  3. 03

    Automate

Pipelines, infrastructure code and deployment scripts are built and proven against a non-production environment.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Your team runs real releases through the new pipeline with us beside them, then owns it with documentation.

Scope it now.

Questions

Which CI/CD tools do you use?

We work with what fits your code hosting and team: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines. If you already use one, we usually improve it rather than replace it, since your team already knows it.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Often not. Many applications run well on managed app platforms, virtual machines or serverless functions. We recommend Kubernetes only when you run many services that need its scheduling and scaling, and we explain the operating cost it brings.

Can you work with our existing developers?

Yes, and we prefer to. We pair with your developers while building the pipelines so they understand every stage, and the configuration stays in your own repositories under your control.
