BI dashboards

Dashboards and reports that show each team its key numbers, drawn from one trusted source of data.

A dashboard is useful when someone changes a decision because of it. We start from the questions each team asks every week, agree the definition behind each number, then build dashboards that answer them clearly. Filters, drill-downs and alerts are added where they help, and every chart can be traced back to the data it came from.

What we build

  • Management dashboards for revenue, margin, cash and pipeline in one view
  • Operational screens for orders, stock, dispatch and service levels
  • Self-service exploration in Superset or Metabase for analysts and managers
  • Embedded analytics inside your own product or customer portal
  • Scheduled reports and threshold alerts sent by email, Slack or WhatsApp
  • Power BI semantic models with row-level security for multi-branch businesses

What it does well

Agreed definitions

Each metric has a written definition and an owner, so two reports never disagree.

Drill to detail

Click any number to see the branches, products or orders that make it up.

Threshold alerts

Owners are notified when stock, cash or service levels cross a set limit.

Branch-level access

Managers see their own region by default, and leaders see the whole business.

Fast on large data

Pre-aggregated tables keep dashboards responsive on many millions of rows.

Phone layouts

Key views are laid out for phones, for managers who check numbers on the move.

Questions

Power BI, Superset or a custom dashboard?

Power BI suits teams already on Microsoft 365 and comfortable with its licences. Superset and Metabase are open source and good for self-service exploration. Custom web dashboards make sense when analytics sit inside your own product for customers to use.

Our numbers come from many systems. Can you combine them?

Yes. We bring sources such as your ERP, CRM, POS and spreadsheets into one warehouse or database, reconcile them, and define each metric once. Dashboards then read from that single layer instead of stitching sources together.

How do we make sure people use the dashboards?

We build with the people who will use them: start from their weekly questions, show early versions, and remove charts nobody looks at. Usage tracking shows which views are opened, so the set stays small and relevant.
