Workflow automation

Repetitive hand-offs between apps and people turned into reliable, visible, automated workflows.

Work often stalls between systems: an order waits for someone to copy it into the ERP, an approval sits unread in an inbox. We build workflow automation that reacts to events, moves data between apps, asks the right person for a decision and handles failures with retries and alerts. Each run is logged step by step, so you can always see where things are.

What we build

  • Event-triggered workflows across email, forms, CRM, ERP, chat and file storage
  • Approval steps with deadlines, reminders, escalation and delegation
  • Durable long-running processes that survive restarts and wait days for input
  • Self-hosted n8n or Temporal setups with connectors for your own systems
  • Run history with step-level inputs, outputs and errors for every execution
  • Alerts and dead-letter queues for runs that need a person to step in

What it does well

Durable runs

Workflows resume exactly where they stopped after a crash or a deployment.

Human steps

Approvals and data entry fit into the flow, with reminders and escalation.

Clear history

Every run shows each step, its input and output, and how long it took.

Retry rules

Failed steps retry with back-off, and repeated failures alert a named owner.

Versioned flows

Workflow changes are reviewed and versioned, and running jobs finish on their old version.

Data stays with you

Self-hosted engines keep customer data inside your own cloud account.

Questions

Should we use Zapier or something custom?

Zapier and Make suit short, low-volume flows owned by one team. Custom automation on Temporal or self-hosted n8n fits when volumes are high, workflows run for days, data must stay in your environment, or failures need careful handling. Starting on a hosted tool and moving later is a valid plan.

What happens when a step fails?

The step retries with increasing delays. If it keeps failing, the run pauses, the error and data are kept, and an owner is alerted. Once the cause is fixed the run resumes from that step, so nothing is processed twice or lost along the way.

Who maintains the workflows after launch?

That is agreed up front. Simple flows in n8n can be changed by trained staff. Code-based workflows on Temporal are maintained by developers, yours or ours. Either way, we document each workflow with its owner, its triggers and where its failure alerts go.
