MVP development

The smallest real product that tests your idea with actual users, built on foundations that can grow.

An MVP is a test, not a smaller copy of the full product. We help you name the riskiest assumption, cut the feature list to what tests it, and build that well: real sign-up, real data and real payments if they matter. Analytics are in from launch, so you learn from what users do rather than from what they say.

What you get

  • A one-page product brief naming the assumption the MVP must test
  • A cut-down feature list, with everything deferred written down for later
  • Designs for the core user journey, tested with a handful of target users
  • A working web or mobile product with sign-up, the core feature and an admin panel
  • Product analytics and event tracking tied to your success measures
  • Production hosting, error monitoring and a deploy pipeline you control

How it works

  1. 01

    Focus

We work out who the user is, the problem, the riskiest assumption and the one measure that will show the MVP works.

  2. 02

    Cut

Features are trimmed to the core journey, and everything else goes on a visible list for later versions.

  3. 03

    Build

We build the core journey on production-grade foundations and demo progress to you as it takes shape.

  4. 04

    Launch and learn

The MVP goes live to real users, we read the analytics with you and plan the next iteration from evidence.

Questions

Will the MVP need to be rebuilt later?

Not if it is built properly. We keep the scope small but use production-grade foundations, such as a sound data model, authentication and automated deploys, so the product can grow from the MVP instead of being thrown away.

Can you help decide what goes in the MVP?

Yes, and it is often the most valuable part. We push back on features that do not test your core assumption, and suggest manual or no-code shortcuts for anything that can be handled behind the scenes at first.

Should the MVP be web or mobile?

Usually web first, because it is faster to change, needs no app store review and works on every device. We recommend a mobile app first when the product depends on phone features such as the camera, location, push notifications or offline use.
