Questions
Should we use SharePoint or a custom intranet?
If you are on Microsoft 365, SharePoint is a sensible base and we can shape it well. A custom intranet suits companies that need deep links to their own systems, a distinct design, or users without Microsoft accounts. Many organisations end up combining both.
Can customers see live data from our ERP?
Yes. The portal reads orders, invoices and balances from your ERP through its API or a secure sync, so customers see the same figures your team does. Sensitive actions such as payments or address changes are confirmed before they are posted.
How do you keep the portal secure?
Every page checks who the user is and what they may see, covered by automated access tests. We add multi-factor sign-in, rate limits and audit logs, and recommend an independent penetration test before a customer portal goes live.
