Productivity apps
Notes, tasks and planning tools that sync across every device and stay fast even with years of data.
Productivity apps live or die on speed and trust: a note must save instantly and never vanish. We build them local-first, with data stored on the device and synced through conflict-free merging, so people can work offline on phone, laptop and web and always see the same thing.
What we build
- Notes and documents with rich text, checklists, tags and backlinks
- Task managers with projects, recurring tasks, reminders and natural-language dates
- Calendars, planners and time-blocking views that combine tasks and events
- Real-time collaboration with shared spaces, comments and live presence
- Local-first sync that merges offline edits from several devices without conflicts
- Quick-capture widgets, share extensions and global keyboard shortcuts

A working sample with made-up data. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
What it does well
Instant saves
Changes are written to the device first, so typing never waits for the network.
Conflict-free sync
CRDT-based merging combines edits made offline on different devices without data loss.
Quick capture
Widgets, share sheets and a global shortcut add a note or task from anywhere.
Smart reminders
Reminders by time or place, with natural-language dates such as next Friday at 4.
Fast search
Full-text search across every note and task, running on the device itself.
Private by design
Optional end-to-end encryption keeps personal notes readable only on the user’s devices.
Questions
What does local-first mean for our users?
Data lives on the user’s device and syncs in the background, so the app opens instantly, works on a plane and does not lose work when a server is down. The server still backs up and shares data, but it is no longer the single point of failure.
Can it sync with Google Calendar or Microsoft 365?
Yes. Tasks and events can sync both ways with Google Calendar and Outlook through their official APIs, and notes can be imported from common formats such as Markdown files, Evernote exports and Notion exports.
Can we offer it as a paid subscription?
Yes. We implement in-app subscriptions through App Store and Google Play billing, plus web payments through a provider such as Stripe, with one account system so a subscriber is recognised on every device they use.
