Accounting and invoicing
Invoices, payments and books kept in one system, so cash, tax and receivables are always up to date.
Every invoice is also a tax record, a receivable and a ledger entry. We build accounting software that treats it that way: invoices post to the right accounts, payments match against open bills, and bank lines reconcile by clear rules, leaving your accountant to review rather than retype.
What we build
- Quotes, proforma and tax invoices with numbering series and branded templates
- Recurring billing, credit notes and partial or advance payments
- Double-entry ledgers with a chart of accounts, journals and period close
- Bank feed import and rule-based reconciliation of payments and charges
- GST, VAT or sales tax calculation with e-invoice and return-ready reports
- Receivables ageing, dunning reminders and payment links in every invoice

What it does well
Double entry
Every transaction posts balanced debits and credits, so the trial balance always ties out.
Payment matching
Incoming payments are matched to invoices by amount, reference and customer automatically.
Tax handling
Tax rates, place of supply and exemptions are applied per line and summarised for returns.
Foreign currency
Invoices in other currencies record exchange rates and post realised gains or losses.
Locked periods
Closed months are locked, and corrections go through reversing entries with a reason.
Accountant access
Your external accountant gets a review role without access to unrelated business data.
Questions
Why not use an off-the-shelf accounting package?
For standard bookkeeping, a packaged product is usually right. Custom accounting makes sense when billing is tied to your own product usage, contracts or projects, when you invoice at high volume, or when the books must be built into a platform you sell to others.
Can it produce compliant tax invoices?
We build invoices with the format and fields your tax authority requires, including e-invoice registration where that applies, and keep the rules configurable. Your accountant or tax adviser confirms the final setup before go-live.
Can it work alongside our existing accounting software?
Yes. Many businesses keep their accountant’s package for statutory filing and use a custom system for billing and receivables. We sync customers, invoices and payments through the package’s API or an agreed export so both stay in step.
